Weathering Winter, Together |
January tested us with cold and storms, but it also showed the strength of our community. We stayed grounded and moving through bowling and cardio drumming, created joy with a full-sensory beach day, and shared an unforgettable night at the Sixers game. When winter weather hit hard, we came together—shoveling, supporting one another, and making sure everyone was cared for.
Last month was a powerful reminder that connection and teamwork carry us through even the toughest days. |

| Grateful for Our Network of Care
During the recent snowstorm, our team showed up in every possible way — staying overnight, traveling through tough conditions, shoveling and salting, and supporting one another so the people we serve were safe and cared for. Some even arrived with their kids and dog in tow. It's a powerful reminder that care doesn’t clock out and our network shows up for each other.
Thank you to our Direct Support Professionals, Program Specialists, Nurses, Maintenance team, on-call managers, Directors, and everyone who stepped up. This is what a true Network of Care looks like. |

Mindfulness, Creativity & Movement |

Cardio drumming is a high-energy group fitness workout that combines aerobic exercise, rhythmic movement, and drumming. We utilize large stability balls, drumsticks, and buckets as equipment. During the sessions, we listen to upbeat music, with each song featuring choreographed movements that the instructor will show and participants follow along. The routines combine rhythmic drumming with full-body movements, creating an energetic and engaging cardio workout. |

Our Sensory Beach Day brought the feeling of the shore indoors through mindfulness, creativity, and movement. Participants practiced mindfulness before painting beach scenes to support focus and fine motor skills, then enjoyed sensory play—feeling sand underfoot, playing beach-inspired games, and moving to beach-themed music. This Beach day supported whole-person wellness through body awareness, creativity, movement, and social connection in a relaxed, engaging environment
