Residential Services

Home, Belonging, and Support—Built Around the Individual

At Shared Wellness, home is more than a place to live—it’s the foundation for safety, connection, and a meaningful life. Our Residential Services are designed to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in environments that honor their preferences, strengths, and goals.

We offer a continuum of community-based living options rooted in dignity, choice, and whole-person care. Whether someone thrives with 24/7 support or more independent living, our role is to walk alongside them—providing consistent, thoughtful support while empowering them to lead their own lives.

Community Living Arrangements (CLA)

Supported Living, Centered on Home & Wellness

Our living arrangements are designed to feel safe, personal, and grounded, honoring the idea that home is not just a place, but a foundation for well-being.

Support is tailored to each person and may include assistance with daily living, personal care, skill-building, health coordination, nutrition and meaningful community connection. Rather than a single model, support is shaped around the individual—adapting as needs, goals, and rhythms of life evolve.

Creating a home takes many hands. Program teams, direct support professionals, clinicians, nurses, maintenance, technology, and administrative staff work together—alongside families and the individuals themselves—to ensure each home supports comfort, stability, and a sense of belonging.

Choice and control guide every step. Individuals are active partners in decisions about where they live, how their home looks and feels, who is part of their day-to-day life, and how they are supported. This collaborative approach allows each home to reflect the people who live there—supporting independence, dignity, and whole-person wellness.

Lifesharing

Family-Based Living, Rooted in Everyday Life

Lifesharing offers a deeply personal alternative to traditional residential care. Individuals live in the home of a dedicated Lifesharing provider, where support is woven into the rhythm of everyday life—sharing meals, routines, responsibilities, and time together as part of a household.

This model is built around real life, not programs or shifts. Daily moments—morning routines, errands, celebrations, quiet evenings, and community activities—create consistency, connection, and a sense of belonging. Through these shared experiences, trust grows naturally and support feels steady and familiar.

Lifesharing is ideal for individuals who thrive in a family environment and value routine, stability, and close support. For many, it becomes more than a living arrangement—it becomes a home shaped by ordinary days, meaningful relationships, and a shared life.
