Making a Real Impact
Shared Wellness is deeply grateful for the practitioners who generously volunteer their time, skills, and care to support the well-being of our employees, community, and the individuals we serve. These offerings reflect the heart of Shared Wellness — a shared commitment to whole-person care, connection, and compassion.
Dori Mekhiche
We extend our sincere thanks to Dori Mekhiche, Certified Trauma-Informed Breathwork Coach and Holistic Health Coach. Dori has volunteered her time to support our day program by offering morning meditation and breathwork sessions for the individuals we support, helping create grounding, regulation, and calm at the start of each day.
In addition, Dori will offer a 90-minute Chakra Healing Reiki session on January 7 from 7:00–8:30 p.m. at Shared Wellness. Seats are still available, and caregivers are encouraged to visit the Shared Wellness website to learn more and register.
Dori’s trauma-informed, nervous-system-focused approach provides meaningful support to both employees and program participants.

Gail Rowan
We are also grateful to Gail Rowan for volunteering her time to offer gentle yoga classes for Shared Wellness employees. Gail has already facilitated two gentle yoga classes — one in November and one in December — creating welcoming and accessible spaces for relaxation, mindful movement, and stress relief.
Gail brings a naturally caring, patient, and compassionate presence to her classes, helping participants feel supported, seen, and comfortable moving at their own pace. Following the positive response, she will offer two additional gentle yoga classes in January. Caregivers are encouraged to visit the Shared Wellness website for dates, details, and registration information.
Cathy Scarpello
We are honored to partner with Cathy Scarpello, a holistic practitioner offering massage therapy, craniosacral therapy, and Reiki. Beginning in January, Cathy has generously committed to donating one free individual session per month to support Shared Wellness employees.
Each month, one eligible employee who has successfully completed their 90-day probationary period will be randomly selected and invited to contact Cathy directly to schedule a session of their choice. The first recipient will be announced on January 7.
In addition to individual sessions, Cathy will facilitate a Reiki Shares group session on January 19, offering a supportive space for collective healing and energetic balance. Full details and registration information will be shared on the Shared Wellness website once finalized.
Cathy is volunteering her time and services specifically to support Shared Wellness employees, and we are sincerely grateful for her generosity and ongoing commitment to staff wellness.
