Shared Words & Reflection
What it is
A calm, intimate gathering centered on shared words — quotes, poems, passages, or reflections — and gentle conversation in a supportive circle.
Who it’s for
For caregivers, parents, helpers, listeners, and anyone longing for meaningful connection without pressure.
Especially supportive for those seeking quiet community, reflection, and a place to be heard — or simply to listen.
What to expect
We’ll begin at 5:00 PM with tea and light treats as we settle into a quiet circle. After brief introductions, each participant will have a few minutes to share a meaningful quote, poem, passage, or reflection, along with a short thought about what it represents.
Gentle questions and conversation are welcome, and listening is always honored. Sharing is invited, never required.
We’ll close with an open group discussion and a brief loving-kindness meditation, offering peace to ourselves, our loved ones, and the wider world.
Why it matters

Emotional connection and reflection
Slowing down in a busy world
Compassion for self and others
A sense of belonging through shared humanity
Experience level
No preparation needed. You may bring something to share or simply come to listen.
