Caregiver Self-Care: Sharing Joy
Hey there, amazing caregivers! Take a breather and join us in person for a relaxed session all about self-care. It's a perfect chance to recharge, share your stories, and discover simple ways to bring more joy into your daily routine. Come connect with others who truly get it and leave feeling refreshed and inspired.
For many of us, supporting a loved one with unique needs isn’t a role — it’s simply part of life. This session offers space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your own well-being while your loved one experiences the same care, calm, and connection in their own way.
This class offers a space for reflection, creative expression, and mindfulness, tailored to you and your loved one. Because everyone practices wellness differently.
Together, we’ll explore the power of Sharing Joy through mindful discussion and guided meditation. We'll explore daily routines we can use to find and share more joy in our lives — small practices that restore balance and remind us that wellness is stronger when it’s shared.
Why this series is different
Two workshops occurring simultaneously: You’ll have time for your own restoration while your loved one is invited to participate in an adaptive yoga session designed for regulation, expression, and connection. Your loved one is also welcome to bring their own support person.
Both experiences are guided by facilitators who honor whole-person inclusive wellness.
This isn’t just about relaxation — it’s about building a stronger community of support for both you and your loved one.
You’ll leave with tools and connections that remind you: you’re not alone.
Who it’s for
Adults supporting an adult loved one with intellectual or developmental disabilities (IDD) — whether you call yourself a caregiver or simply part of a family of care.
